Waste
Ships that call at Narvik and does not have an agreement for the delivery of waste in another port, must pay a fee.
The fee is calculated based on the number of days from the vessel leaving the previous port (delivery possibility) until the vessel leaves the berth in Narvik port district
The minimum rate is equivalent to 2 days.
Ships wishing to deliver black water must give advance notice of this and a tanker or tank barge must be ordered. For such delivery, the actual expenses are paid in addition to the above-mentioned rates.
Cruise and marine vessels report the need for waste containers prior to arrival and these are placed out for each call.
